You would think with how long they have been around people would have developed a standard frequency for wireless mice and keyboards. I mean your microwave has a standard range of frequencies for crying out loud. Would it have been hard to define two specific frequencies within their allowed range of broadcast and designate for the two device types? But no, instead they apparently are content to operate in the same range. This seems kind of stupid given how prolific they have become and how likely that the two will be purchased separately. I did just that, and surprise surprise, my fancy new keyboard is totally unusable as it refuses to play nice with my mouse. To fix this I attempted to find a wired mouse, but apparently they no longer exist. Another triumph of technology.
